BJJ Programs Designed to Get you to Black Belt

At Gracie Barra Kirkland, our Professors have built a team-oriented environment by establishing a solid foundation based upon strong leadership and effective instruction. With these pillars in place, students are given the opportunity to get the most out of their training. For students with consistency and dedication to the Art, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu becomes a lifestyle, which allows them to readily enjoy all the benefits of Jiu-Jitsu.

GB Kirkland offers 16 adult classes a week, including 3 days of Gi and 3 days of NoGi, and plenty of class options for kids and teens.

Kids’ Classes

In our little champs 1 program (ages 3 to 9), kids learn the fundamentals of jiu jitsu and are also introduced to sparring. More time is spent on proper technique and teaching your kids how to focus, problem solve, stay on track and train with purpose. Classes are one hour long and take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 10: 45 a.m.

Our little champs 2 program (5-10) is for our advanced kids (grey/white belt & up) and consists of a warmup, BJJ techniques and plenty of sparring. Kids in this program are working on more advanced techniques and submissions. Classes happen every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m.

Our juniors (ages 11-14) follow a similar structure as the little champs 2, though they do spar a bit more. They train every Monday and Wednesday at 4:30 p.m and classes are one hour long. Juniors can also attend Saturday’s 10 a.m. classes.

Adults’ Classes

If you are a beginner, we encourage you to attend our Beginner’s classes on Monday (noon/5:30 p.m.) and Wednesday (5:30 p.m.) for at least the first 6 weeks.

Some of our other classes are also beginner friendly, including our afternoon sessions and M/W early morning sessions. Members cannot attend the 6:30 positional sparring class on Wednesday or the 11:30 am competition class on Saturday without being a 2-stripe white belt.

NoGi

Learn submission grappling from one of the top NoGi practitioners in the country.

Women’s Only

We have two women’s-only sessions per week: NoGi on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. and Gi fundamentals on Friday at 5:30 p.m. Young girls are also permitted to attend these sessions. If your significant other or child attends our school you can come to this class at no cost.
